Lions and Tigers and Dragons, oh my! All manner of creatures, from furry to feathered, scaled to smooth – fact, fiction and fantasy. There may be some pets in the mix, as they are fauna as well – if you wish to see only a selection of pet portraits, please direct your attention to that gallery.
Creature art to me is fascinating in its variety. There will be a number of styles below – cute simple owls and foxes, complex insects, stylized birds and dragons, and waaaay down at the bottom the wedding favors that started this whole woodworking endeavor.

My grad school maaaay have something to do with this design. Measures ~8″ long, 4.75″ tall, 1″ thick. Garfield Dragon: osage orangewood, yellowheart, cypress, lyptus, ebony Bat: wing membranes are Black Walnut, hair on the body / wings is Curly Mango, body is Ipe, ears are Cedar, and eyes / nose are Ebony.
