Fossil Preparation

The first block of photos are of the Edmontosaurus collection from Concordia College, Moorhead, MN. Fossil preparation mainly completed between 1998-2007. Not every specimen shown was cleaned by Becky – but a good number were. Her focus during that time was mainly on hands, feet, skull, and caudal vertebrae (with a smattering of other things).

This second block of fossil photos are a selection of completed specimens from the North Dakota Geological Survey, State Fossil Collection, Bismarck, ND. Summer digs were conducted all across the state, from localities with different time periods, flora, fauna, and preservation styles.
